A quick statement just to get the thread started!
"F*ck Wednesday comps!!" LOL. I hope this doesn't hurt my position in the tribe, but Wednesdays are my WORST days!!
Oh well, I am still going to be around for most of the time and I plan on kicking some serious Chavin ass this time around! We already voted out the dead weight and no one else fits into that catagory, so a trip to tribal would SUCK!

THEHOOKER OFF TO A GOOD START?
By: Kristoph Hookovski, correspondent for: The iSurv1vor Times
I have been given the task by my editors to follow the latest installment of the iSurv1cor series, Peru, and report back. So far it is quite the game, and we are only 6 days in!
Things started off with the tribes being divided along age lines, where all the 20 and under players became the Chavin tribe and the 21+ players were assigned to the tribe Norte Chico. Then things REALLY got going! The first challenge was to acquire fire for your tribe, and each tribe had to sit out 2 members. This proved to be a pivotal choice (as you will see when I get to evictions). Norte Chico came out firing and took the first challenge by a landslide, thus sending Chavin to the first tribal council where Fiers was evicted. Remember just a second ago when I said that the sitting was pivotal? Well Fiers was one that was sat, and it obviously hurt him! Chico was now pumped up and feeling on top of the world, but this was to be their downfall!
In the second immunity challenge the tribes had to build their shelters, and Chavin was ready to show Norte Chico that they weren’t as dominant as they thought. The "young" tribe came out hammering!! They put up so many shelters in such a short time that the Chico members couldn't possibly have predicted it. Chico still fresh from their feeling of invincibility took a little time getting going. Then they came up with the idea of faking out the other tribe by making it appear as though they were much further along than they really were, and it ALMOST worked. Chavin, thinking they were getting beat again, gave up and quit the challenge. Norte Chico continued to build and build, and knowing that the other tribe had quit only went on for a few more hours and then decided that they had it in the bag and stopped working. WAS THAT EVER A MISTAKE! As pointed out, Chavin had gone insane for the time they were building and even though Chico went for twice as long, they still had not caught up, and they ended up losing the challenge! ... Off to tribal with Chico!
Norte Chico camp was in an uproar! They couldn't understand what had happened and the feelings of invincibility quickly melted away to be replaced by feelings of shock and dread at having to go to a vote. Once again the "sat" member of the first challenge felt the bite of the vote as Chico unanimously (8 votes) turned on tribe mate Melody and caused her to become the 2nd evictee of this game!
More important than the actual vote, however, was the talk in camp before tribal council. The 5 "strong" members of the tribe decided that it would be in their best interests to stay together and form an alliance to ensure that the tribe stayed strong and that they would all be able to make it further in the game. Jordan, Matt, Hooker, Ginny and Caydie formed a "solid 5" alliance. From there TheHooker went about trying to solidify things with Jordan and Ginny to try and ensure that even in the event of a "civil war" he would be able to come out alive. On top of this he also sent secret correspondence with smoke signals to a Chavin tribe member, in order to try and garner some much needed information, and also to get some "goodwill" towards himself in the event of a tribal switch-up.
Will all this be enough for Chico and TheHooker to prevail in the end? Is this just the kind of thing that gets him to the merge, but then seen as the "big threat" and booted to the jury? Or will all this moving and shaking cost TheHooker BIG TIME and will he find himself on the outs at the next tribal? Only time will tell, and this reporter will be watching closely!

Oh man, we are getting slaughtered! I think there are small possibilities left, but I beter start thinking about tribal, as that is likely where I am going! Is "The 5" going to stick? And if so, who of the other 3 shall we vote off? Joey for threat reasons? Or Eddie for the same reason (But he is the "under the radar" threat?) I think maybe we should keep Britti this time so as not to make the girls nervous, but I dunno. I will try and NOT be the one who drops the name if I can avoid it. Hopefully someone else will bring it up and the we can just agree to get it done. Like pulling off a bandaid, quick and painless (except the one wwho gets booted - that might be painfull!)
Not much time to talk here - comp is still going on, but I figured I would check in!

What's On Your Mind: - How have the first nine days in the game been for you? Tough. I haven’t been getting much sleep, and this game just wears on you both physically and mentally, you know? Now I have to go through another tribal and this one could be my last. I have no real reason not to trust my alliance, but then again this is survivor and I have no real reason TO trust them either. SO basically it is tough - lol
- How do you feel about your position in your tribe? I "think" I am good-to-go, but I really don't know. There are allot of reasons that I can think of why they would boot me, so I'll just have to see.
- Gimme a break down of what you think of your tribemates:
Ginny: tough competitor, good people person, an all around threat, BUT she has emerged as the "leader" and that can be dangerous
Caydie: Nice girl, she seems trustworthy??
Matt: If there is anyone left on the tribe who isn't 100% "in to it" it might be him? But I like the dimension he brings to the team by being 7 hours different from Eastern Time. I also think he may be easier to "get" later, than some others.
Jordan: I still find Jordan to be the closest to myself in this game. He seems to play like me and also has a similar "life schedule" I plan on solidifying our alliance if I can.
Joey: Very likable guy, too likable? He might be hard to get rid of later...
Brittany: Next evicted? Not sure, but if she isn't it is probably because of the other girls. She try’s hard and is always willing to help, but Caydie and Ginny seem just as capable anyway.
Eddie: If the girls veto the Britti choice it could be Eddie, He is a good guy and try’s hard too, but he doesn't seem to bring anything to the table that isn't already covered by all the people I just listed above. - What did you think of the last Immunity challenge? I Hated it!! These 24 hours things are killing me and the kids have MUCH more time than us (I doubt they have 2 kids and a full time job - not to mention the Law course I am taking right now) and these types are hard for Chico to excel in.
Tell Me About Camplife: - What are the dynamics like on your tribe? Divided now! a small faction has decided to get ME out, at least I HOPE it is small. I think I have the votes to stay, but I am REALLY nervous.
- You're surrounded by these people 24 hours a day, anyone getting on your nerves? Not really. Ginny makes me nervous, Joey is trying to get me evicted - but if I stay I will know Ginny voted to keep me and that will put my mind at ease.
- Who do you feel the closest to right now? Explain. Jordan and Matt. They came straight to me to tell me about the movement to evict me, that was awesome - they easily could have just booted me!
- Who is your gut saying not to trust? Why? Caydie (after Joey of course) She was supposed to be in my alliance (and just this morning as you can see above I said she was the trustworthy 1!!) and she is part of the faction goign against me! I also think she has plans to abandon us for Chavinmembers if we let her get to the merge!
- Anyone standing out as a strong force in the tribe? Everyone. Jordan, Ginny, Myself?
- Who would you is a weak link, and bringing the tribe down? NO one really, but this dividing the tribe has to be stopped! We boot Joey now, and Caydie better hope we win the next few and she gets back into our trust (but I can't see that happening now)
In short - I knew this was going to happen sooner or later, I was hoping later, but whatever - at least now I will find out who I can trust, and if I stay that will be helpful!

Well, alliances have already shifted. Looks like Caydie is out and Eddie is in! lol... Now I feel bad about saying we could boot him this morning! If I survive this vote he will be key for me!

Well, TheHooker lived to tell the tale! Joey and Caydie made a BIG mistake when they tried to included Jordan in their plan to oust me!! He came right to me, and then helped flip Ginny back to us!
If the girls (Caydie and Brit) are to be believed, I am apparently the devil himself come to sabotage this game?? I am not quite sure what I did to deserve all their hate towards me, but it seems that they are forgetting that we are playing Survivor and that people lie in this game! I never even really lied! I made NO commitments to Britt or to Joey, they both seem to think that I did, but if they thought they were reading something into what I said that I didn't really say, that is their problem! Name of this game: - talk to everyone - tell them what they want to hear - DO WHAT IS BEST FOR YOURSELF!!!
I am sure I will get mine before this game is over, but you won't catch me crying like baby on the "open" forums or insulting people!!! I mean grow up, there is nothing personal involved here, in fact I liked all 3 of you as people, but we can't ALL stay in the game!
