Tribal Council #5
Norte Chico Tribe
Host Sandy: Norte Chico - welcome. This is the first time since the switch up that you guys have been here. Can't wait to see how the dynamics of this tribe has shifted. Last time you were here, Joey was voted out - it's time to send another person to the Castoff Casa. As always, we'll start council off with a few questions. Kerri, It's no secret there are 3 original Chavin members, and 4 original Chico members, does this fact make you feel vulnerable at all, or is this a totally different game?
Kerri: omg.. every day. the original chico members are all super nice.. but i feel like a complete outsider most of the time.. which makes me really nervous.
Host Sandy: Eddie, break down the strategy a bit that went into deciding who to vote off tonight.
Eddie: It was a very tough vote especially with the new tribes. I didn't get a chance to know this player too well, but he worked well in our challenge and the individual immunity challenge. A very strong player and I wish the player well.
Host Sandy: Hooker, last time you were at Council you received some votes cast against you. Are you worried that tonight could be your night?
Hooker: Damn rights, I am! I don't think I will ever feel completly safe in any tribal council. All you can do is trust, and hope that people feel that they need you as much as you need them...
Host Sandy: Zack, Congrats on winning the first Individual challenge. How does it feel knowing you'll be around tomorrow?
Zack: It feels pretty damn amazing. I'm not gonna lie, the "newcomers" in this tribe have been on the chopping block for a while, so i knew i had to win it to be safe. One step closer to merge. :]
Host Sandy: Kanga, how has your game changed since the tribes were jumbled?
Kanga: OMFG.... it changed being close to the bottom to more to the bottom lol......it put me and a couple of others def. on the end of the stick... because obviously rite now theres a team difference... it changed in a way that i hae to start putting my trust in people and people have to learn to take my trust and use it as their advantage..... i'm just hoping that it will work out... and that this tribe jumble was a very good thing to happen instead of a bad
Host Sandy: Ginny, what are you basing your vote on tonight?
Ginny: I'm voting out the person who is trying to play the game a little to hard. But who knows ... maybe his tricks have worked and I'll be the one looking in from the outside
Host Sandy: Eddie, Were you shocked to see Matt Freeman voted out of the Chavin tribe a few days ago?
Eddie: Yeah I was a little shocked but it's the nature of the game. Matt was a very very cool dude and he was a great guy to talk with. He got voted out early in this game, but I still like talking to him. It is a game though and Chavin had to do what they had to.
Host Sandy: Jordan, Compare your original tribe, to this new tribe. How have y'all been working together over the past few days?
Jordan: We've been working together very well! It's interesting, on the first Norte Chico we were all great friends but there were some rifts underneath the surface that came out right before the mixup and messed everything up. Here, it seems everyone's aware of tribal rifts that existed before we got here but we work well together anyway. I really hope this will continue, and it sucks that we have to lose someone tonight without having lost a challenge.
Host Sandy: Ginny, how have the dynamics on the tribe changed since Kanga, Kerri, and Zack entered camp.
Ginny: Everyone was a bit timid at first checking each other out. After the first challenge together we really felt like a united tribe. At least for a day or so.
Host Sandy: Eddie, what are you basing your vote on?
Eddie: For me, it's just a strategic choice, and although it seemed like this player was a cool person. Choices do have to be made in this game whether you want to or not because it ultimately is a game and everyone wants to win. I'm basing my vote on what gives me the best chance to advance. I hate tribal council though, not a big fan.
Host Sandy: Jordan, What are you basing your vote on tonight?
Jordan: This is a very tough vote, but it's time to start thinking about the future. The person I'm voting for is a threat, pure and simple, so hopefully this vote will put me in a better place in upcoming rounds.
Host Sandy: Thanks Norte Chico, I now must remind everyone that once the votes are read the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. That person will become the fifth castaway voted out Peru. I'll read the votes...
First vote...
Second vote...
Third vote...
Fourth vote...
Fifth vote...
Sixth vote...
We're tied - 3 votes for Kanga, 3 votes for Ginny...
Last vote vote...

I'm sorry Kanga....after 15 days out here in Peru...THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN!
You need to bring me your torch.
*Snuffs Kanga's Torch*
Please post some final words in your Journal man. Take a look back on your three rounds spent in Peru and reflect! I appreciate you taking the time and apply/playing this game. Second time is a charm man. I'm sure you wanted to last a big longer - but someone had to go. I'll be touch with you to set up and iSurv1vor Live! Interview.
As for the rest of y'all, you can head back to camp. Get some rest, tomorrow is the biggest day you've seen so far out here.
