Tribal Council #2
Norte Chico Tribe
Host Sandy: Welcome Norte Chico! Six days in this game and tonight - someone must leave. The first challenge you guys dominated. The second challenge comes around and y'all start off a bit behind, nothing too terrible though. Even with your brilliant idea of creating a Spamming thread, the hut building side of this challenge couldn't compare to the speed and teamwork of the Chavin tribe. Hopefully next challenge y'all can bounce back, and hopefully pull out a win. As always I will start Tribal Council of with a ritual - a question and answer ceremony. Matt Freeman, are you surprised to be here tonight? Were you expecting to lose that last challenge?
Matt F: Are we supposed to be here tonight? HELL NO! We worked SO hard at that challenge, and we even got the other tribe to quit. I'm still blown away that we lost. None of us were expecting to be here tonight.
Host Sandy: Hooker, could your team be working better together, or do you think y'all have been doing the best you can for being almost strangers?
Hooker: I think we work together AWSOME. With Melody gone, we will be a well oiled team. The disadvantage that we have is that we all work and the "kids" mostly are on holidays now, so they have MUCH more time to do challenges. So on challenges where constantly being online is needed, they should get us, BUT on things like the first one where you just do it and it is over I think we work great together.
Host Sandy: How has the first few days in Peru been for you Brittany?
Brittany: The first few days were pretty good, getting to know our team for the most part, and we did pretty great in both challenges I think, even though we didn't win this last one.
Host Sandy: Jordan, anyone standing out as a leader yet?
Jordan: I think Ginny's emerged as the overall leader of the tribe. She's a natural organizer, and always volunteers to get things going at the beginning of each challenge. But then once the challenge gets going we all work together and everyone takes various leadership roles.
Host Sandy: Joey, how did it feel being selected as a castaway this time around?
Joey: Hahah amazing man. Never thought I'd get picked, applied like last minute. I hope you're not regretting it yet.
Host Sandy: Ginny, where do you think Norte Chico went wrong in the last Immunity?
Ginny: We did fine on our challenge. We knew that we were at a disadvantage going in but we're not quitters. It's almost a relief to lose and get rid of dead weight.
Host Sandy: Caydie, I know it's early, but is there anyone on Norte Chico you view was a weak link, who would potentially hold this tribe back?
Caydie: I think melody (duh, lol) and maybe eddie or matt? not too sure, I like my tribe... i really do!!
Host Sandy: Hooker, without stating a name, what do you have to say to the person you're voting out tonight?
Hooker: Sorry you had to go, but really what did you expect? The rest of us have bonded and we have ALL helped in challenges, and you have been pretty much nowhere to be seen. As such - you have become the 2nd person evicted!! Bye (damn will I feel like a dufuss if I get voted out! lol)
Host Sandy: Eddie, how have the tribe dynamics been these first few days? Everyone getting along well, gelling?
Eddie: Well, my first tribal council is going to shake up our tribe I think. I hope we can stay strong after this lost challenge. With Melody voted off, the next tribal council might prove daunting because I think we're close knit, and anyone of us could go next. Now I have to start formulating a plan, or I could be next to go. It's gonna get interesting now.
Host Sandy: Caydie, what do you think of your fellow tribe mates?
Caydie: Honestly? I'm already attached to some of them, I think this is an awesome tribe, and i like them, all. (minus melody..lol)
Host Sandy: Jordan, what was your initial reaction when you saw the tribes were divided by age?
Jordan: I was excited. I'd rather be around people my own age, and I really didn't want to deal with the drama that being with a bunch of teenagers would entail. I think our tribe is tight-knit and very strong, but we just got beat this time. Being with older, more experienced people has made the game more enjoyable thus far.
Host Sandy: Brittany, what are you basing your vote on tonight?
Brittany: My vote tonight is based on the fact that Melody has not been present for both challenges and I haven't heard from her once at all except for the brief post she put on our tribal board. It was a pretty easy choice, but next time it won't be.
Host Sandy: Matt Freeman, what do you think of the Chavin tribe? Threatened by any one of them in particular?
Matt F: I think the Chavin tribe is young and foolish. They quit the challenge halfway through because we created a fake thread. We may not have beaten them, but we most definitely outsmarted them. And I guarantee we won't be back here at tribal council any time soon. Am I threatened by anyone on Chavin? Nope. Will I make the mistake of underestimating them again? Absolutely not. We're out for revenge now.
Host Sandy: What do you think of the Young vs the Old teams?
Ginny: I think it's awesome. I don't want to get any letters from mom's complaining that I made the kids cry! We have a great tribe! The only problem is that we - as adults - have responsibilities so staying up or spending all day long on challenges can not happen (hint, hint).
Host Sandy: Eddie, tell me a bit of strategy that's gone into making this vote tonight.
Eddie: I think it's a basic consensus from the whole tribe, and we don't want to vote some active players off or it will cause some real trouble. Well, Melody is going, but it's time to start playing.
Host Sandy: Thanks Norte Chico. I must remind everyone that once the votes are read the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. That person will become the second castaway voted out Peru. I'll read the votes...
First vote...
Second vote...
Third vote...
Fourth vote...
That's 4 votes for Melody...
Fifth vote...
Second person voted out of iSurv1vor Peru...
I'm sorry Melody....after 6 days out here in Peru...THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN!
You need to bring me your torch.
*Snuffs Melody's Torch*
Please post some final words in your Journal. I know you've had some trouble getting used to proboards Melody - I wish you got the hang of it a bit quicker. As I told you when you applied, this would probably be the best game you'll ever play over the internet...I might now swallow my words, as I am sure you don't agree with that, haha. I wish you could've lasted longer, but someone had to go! Thanks for playing - an iSurv1vor Alum should be in contact with you to hold an iSurv1vor Live! Interview.
As for the rest of y'all... this vote was completely unanimous, which means this tribe will see better days soon. Journal entires for Episode #3 should be made now. You guys can head back to camp and await the next challenge.
