I first want to say, Travis quit Cambodia at final 9. He then reapplied for Hawaii. Then asked if I would ever give him a shot in Allstars. Now he's applying to Peru. ... What do I do? Opinions from Tom, Andrew, and Cambodia Alum are much appreciated when it comes to this fella.****************************************
So, I thought I would try my hand at the Peru season, if you have room for me and think that I fit into this cycle. Here goes the application:

Briefly describe yourself as a player: I am still learning how to play these games...it hasn't completely worked for me the way I want. I can see the progress and want to play more games to see it grow even more.
I develop the alliances that I think work for me and target the threats to my alliance. I tend to be a strong player, which has proven to put a target on my head very early. I have also learned to mingle more with all players, not just those in my alliance. In playing these two games, I know some of the super-tough players and who to look out for/link up with from the start.
I am hardcore in challenges and don't miss anything unless there is no way out of it. I also feel that I keep up well with my journals. For me...it is balls-to-the-wall in the games. I try every angle until I am voted out.
3 words that describe your personality: Witty, Sarcastic, Dependable
Favorite food: Berry Strata...a new recipe that I found and I love to make it for family dinners and eat it with ice cream!!!
How many hours a week do you spend online?: Much more now that I have played these games...I would say 25-30/week.
What would be your initial strategy?: My initial strategy is to feel out the game...see who the competition is. Once I have met everyone, then I would try to see if there were one or two people that I thought were trustworthy in the game. I would see what there thoughts were on the game after the first immunity challenge...see if they were feeling anything on the lines of voting together. If it was working, then I would go with that.
The other strategy....ASSUME NOTHING! I think that has been the general theme in both games I have played. When you get comfortable, some big goofy twist comes and screws it up. Last...I would try to be as goofy/funny in the boards as I could...I have noticed that the person who does that seems to go far in the games. It would be worth a try...HMMM!
Favorite movie: Easily...Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. I have the entire box set and this is the BEST one of the entire series. Bringing back Heather Langenkamp (Nancy) to help the Elm Street kids and fight Freddy was GENIUS!!! Love the movies even though they freaked me the hell out as a kid.
iSurv1vor has the reputation of being a pretty hardcore game:
-Why should you be chosen to play over all the other applicants? ANYTHING that I do, I put 125% into...I am a competitive person by nature and I don't flake out. Even when "the writing is on the wall" for me, I am still going to try to make people flip their vote. I won't stop until the votes are posted.
-What makes you stand out? I stand out because if you pick me, I will be the only player for this season that can say they fought with the host and still made it in...HAHA!!! No, seriously...I am the type of player that people think they can trust initially but then once everything starts falling out they realize if they are not on my side they are screwed...and I can still do it with a smile on my face! I can also talk people into doing things that they think they don't want to do...I love manipulating people...exactly what this game needs!
Favorite song: Maybe by Kelly Clarkson
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?: I am currently living out the craziest thing that I have ever done. I was almost "asked to resign" from my job over a stupid situation, but the company took my side. In my interest, they asked me if I wanted to move to Cleveland for a temporary position for the summer. I was told that they would find me a permanent position by the time this one ended...as the days continue to pass, nothing is turning up. I am starting to feel more and more crazy with each passing day. SCARY STUFF right now...
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: In 10 years, I will have finished my doctorate in Student Affairs and be working in some mid to upper level of a university. I will have travelled to Spain, England, and all 50 states (one of my personal goals). I will be in the final stages of baldness, looking like George from Seinfield (it is so depressing right now...). I will be fitting comfortably into jeans that are so much smaller than the ones that I am wearing right now, because I have been in the process of losing weight over the last two years...so I can only imagine what it will be like in 10 years. As far as kids and a family go, I am not sure about that...I am just now hammering down enough things about myself...I don't want to predict anything in that field.
